Brief
We are looking for an experienced, creative and entrepreneurial Software Services Marketing Professional to lead our marketing efforts as Marketing Director. The Marketing Director will be outlining a comprehensive marketing strategy to build Dedaub’s brand and reputation with all relevant customers, so as to augment our leadership in the Web3 and blockchain security space. The Marketing Director needs to coordinate, develop and link technical product content with engaging externally-facing content, tailoring messaging to platforms that are used in the blockchain development community (e.g., Twitter, Telegram, Youtube, Discord, LinkedIn).
The main responsibilities would be to :
lead and be in charge of the full scope of marketing efforts, reporting to the founders.
developing and implementing strategies to build Dedaub’s brand and reputation, focusing on the relevant media used and frequented by the blockchain development community.
The ideal candidate will:
be an experienced marketing professional within software,
have some blockchain experience,
be able to apply traditional marketing skills to new circumstances,
be a skilled marketing strategist, able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others, across all functions.
A key metric for success will be customer acquisition metrics and direct revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities
Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals
Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new product lines etc.
Monitor progress and submit performance reports
Produce valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications
Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements
Control budgets and allocate resources among projects
Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a Marketing Professional in software and IT services
Blockchain experience a plus
Excellent leadership and organizing skills: experience in leading cross-functional teams and working with key internal and external stakeholders, while closely managing a marketing budget
Analytical and creative thinking
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices, especially as related to Blockchain activities
Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.), Google Adwords, LinkedIn, Twitter, and CRM (e.g. Hubspot)
Experience and ability to work with multiple CRM tools to build and maintain marketing generated leads
Aptitude in customer-oriented approaches
BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
